I think it builds that connection which in turn can lead to being empathetic to the cause (which I wrote about today for my learning). I also like the idea of the AoW! YES! Communication in all its forms is necessary to grow our thoughts into well-defined opinions. So many opinions are not well-grounded. Collaborative conversations are a must in engaged classrooms.
