I know I said I wasn't going to write anymore about my son's research paper. But...I should know to never say never!
He received his rough draft back Thursday from his professor, and she didn't quite tear it to pieces. A lot of red ink was used (that will be another post) but I think the revisions are doable.
I don't want to celebrate yet, but I am feeling much better about things!
And since this is National Poetry Month...
red ink shadows
lurking among the pages
stain a writer's heart

ReplyDeleteFelt the pain in the haiku but it was a very clever way of expressing it.
ReplyDeleteI think every writer deserves a color besides red. How about blue or purple? Love that you changed the We to He. I remember these years. My parents never knew anything about my papers, but we definitely helped edit a few along the way. This too will pass! And so will he!
