Join Two Writing Teachers and other teacher-writers as we share a slice of life every single day in the month of March.
One day last week while I was reading, commenting, and exploring a new blog, I found a July post called Tuesday Tangibles by Megan McCormick. Here is my day written in Tuesday's tangibles...posted on a Wednesday!
alarm clock
peanut butter toast
student greetings
revision strategies
book stacks
notebooks
spring-like temperatures
spring sprouts sighting
brewed iced tea
Time To Write
chocolate chip cookies
cold milk
bubble bath
light-weight blankets
good night kiss
I immediately thought of the song "These are a few of my favorite things" because that's what this list made me think of! I'm going to have to give this a try for slicing.
ReplyDeleteYou’ve inspired me, too! I’m giving it a try. Love the bed to bed list!
ReplyDeleteSh...we won't tell your students and I love the format. I think I might try it!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this! What a way to list the things I am grateful for throughout the day.
ReplyDeleteHow about changing it to Wordsmithing Wednesday? What a day you had!
ReplyDeleteSo fun! Okay, here's my three favorites: book stacks, chocolate chip cookies, cold milk. You could have predicted that one. Hoping you'll host our party again this month.
ReplyDeletePeanut butter toast!! One of my favorite comfort foods!
ReplyDeleteAnd the spring sprout sighting. I've so been enjoying spying them around my yard the last couple weeks.
And cold milk!
And blankets!
What a great list. Book stacks, notebooks and a bubble bath - what a good day. These would be great things to have at a party. Hint, hint, hint. ;)
