An Imperfect Storm #SOL23

Same storm but just an hour away from me.

An "imperfect storm" was converging--severe weather right at dismissal time.
Lucky for us, Mother Nature was in a hurry today.

  1. Leigh Anne, the photo you shared is scary to me. I only saw something like this once in my life-we were vacationing in Cancun and spotted a tornado way out on the water. Luckily, there was no destruction. Your slice leaves me wondering what followed. It is good to connect with you here this month.

  4. Friday’s wind and rain was bad… we’ve had so many sunny days that weather was very “wearying”

  8. Oh, that can be so terrifying! It brings back memories of a couple months ago when tornadoes ripped up the county north of us - just a few miles from where we live in Georgia. That picture is worth over a thousand words.

  10. I grew up in tornado country and spent lots of time in my aunt's cellar. That looks plenty scary to me. Glad that pic was an hour away from you!

  11. WOW! I have never experienced anything like that. I think I would run the other way. I will take my snow over that anyday. Glad you are safe.

  12. Yikes! I wouldn’t want to look out my window and see that. Your two sentence slice pairs perfectly with the photo. Your slice is satisfying - a great reminder that volume of writing is irrelevant. Heidi C (Book Dragon)

  13. A scary situation perfectly captured in this short slice. I am glad it had a breath of relief in the end.
