It is going on 9:00, and I have yet to write a slice. I have been cleaning ALL day, and the only time I sat down was to eat pizza for dinner. I am tuckered, but I refuse to give in to my achy, tired body and miss a day slicing.
Today is the last day of my spring break - weekends don't count! So here is my week in a list of verbs!
slicing
cooking
baking
writing
shopping
reading
planning
playing
laughing
cleaning
soaking
sleeping
rejuvenating
It's been a busy but productive and fun week.
Here's to a weekend of getting back into the routine!
That sounds like a very productive break! I'm impressed that slicing comes first on your list and that you cleaned all day. Wow! I also like the list of verbs as a slice. I may have to steal this format. Rest up this weekend - routine is calling!
ReplyDeleteI love how you wrote about your week as a list of verbs. Great idea. I’m glad rejuvenating made it on the list.
ReplyDeleteSo many words on this list that needed to be there for a successful spring break. Here are my favorite 7: baking, writing, reading, playing, laughing, sleeping, rejuvenating! So glad you had time for all of this, but a day of cleaning? Kudos for slicing in spite of your weariness.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a delightful list of words! Since my spring break isn't until April, I'm looking forward to compiling fun verbs. :-) Kudos to writing a clever SOL even when exhausted. Best of luck getting back into the swing of things!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I'm going to use this during my week and think about the actions I take.
ReplyDeleteI'm also on my last day, and totally agree that weekends don't count!!! I love this list of verbs idea - what a wonderful spring break you've had. :)
ReplyDeleteLove this idea- and it sounds like a great spring break!
ReplyDeleteThe list of verbs shows how active you were during the week. I consider it a successful break when I get sleeping and reading on the list. You had so much more.
ReplyDeleteWhat a creative post for when you are short on time! Kudos for not missing a day!
