A Tale of Two Skies #sol18

Join Two Writing Teachers and other teacher-writers as we share a slice of life every single day in the month of March.

As I drove to school today I had two different views. I think God was sending me a message.

Positive
negative

lightness
darkness

you are given both
you decide

What sky are you going to choose today?

  1. Glad you were watching and thinking! Love the single word and contrasts.

  2. Love the contrasts. We only have one sky today though, and it's the grey one. Winter storm a comin' . I'll have to be sunny in the house to banish the darkness.

  3. Like Deb, I have seen so much grey, that for me both your pics look colourful. You are right we always have a choice what view to take.

  4. The bright sunrise gives me hope. The dark clouds, comfort.

  5. I love the contrasting words at the end of your piece. And these photos are fantastic! I hope you had a positive day!

  6. I adore the contrast in your photos and words. Your ending question reminds me that I am the one who picks how to show up each day - positive or negative... Such a good reminder!

  7. What a beautiful thought, Leigh Anne. I only wish I had seen this at the beginning of my day and not at the end. Thank you for sharing!
