Thank you Two Writing Teachers for creating this space for me to share my corner of the world.
I am also celebrating with Ruth Ayres today.
My spring break is officially over - it is now just the weekend!
Here are some spring break celebrations.
- I went shopping with Megan and only bought two books!
- We ate lunch at my favorite pizza place which closed down in my hometown.
- I read books on the porch!
- I stayed up late. I love having the house to myself at night.
- I slept in. I love having the house to myself in the morning.
- I stayed in my pjs until lunch.
- I ate Snickers ice cream out of the carton when no one was looking.
- I depiled my dining room table. (See this slice!)
- I held my teacher-friend's two week old baby, Mya!
- I did the laundry before my husband got to it. (See tomorrow's slice!)
Happy Spring Break!
I'm so glad you had a great spring break! 4 and 5 were present in our house as well. I call it the "Summer Sleep Routine." I love it. Everyone should stay up late, sleep in a bit, and take a nap in there too if necessary!
ReplyDeleteStaying up and sleeping late - luxury. I hope you feel fully rested. I understand celebrating the self-control of a reader and buying only two books. :)
ReplyDeleteHow quickly life will return to "normal" but what a treat to have a few days of goodness only you can appreciate.
ReplyDeleteSounds very nice, Leigh Ann. Please let me know if your "de-piling" of the table has kept it all away. I do clean mine off, but it's seems to fill up nearly overnight! So happy you've had a great week.
ReplyDeleteAh, the joy of pajamas and ice cream straight out of the box. Glad you got a chance to recharge.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a perfect break! Love eating snickers ice cream when no one was looking...pajama time! Love it too! 5 days until ours begins!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful list to celebrate! You had a busy March break.
ReplyDeleteConfession, sometimes I stay in my PJs until the afternoon if I have no appointments outside the house. Good for you depiling your table! Gives me an incentive.
