Celebrate Turn #2

I am ever so grateful to Ruth Ayres for inviting us to share and celebrate events, big or small, from our week.

January was a tough month for me, and I was happy to be able to turn the calendar page.  I have not written a celebration post since early January.

Today I celebrate hard things, because through hard things I become stronger.

I celebrate rainy days and my husband's wisdom for planning and knowing there will always be one...someday.

I celebrate mentors and the rekindling of relationships with students...even those separated by a period of absence.

I celebrate short evenings alone with my husband...knowing in our hearts and dreading the day when these evenings become days or weeks or months.

I celebrate my daughter's smile and the feeling in her heart...knowing she has made the right decision.

I celebrate a sweet message from a friend...I have missed your celebrations.

I hope you have a week filled with celebrations.

  1. I'm sorry you've been through such a tough time, Leigh Anne. I can feel your strength in your words. Take care and keep looking for those celebrations.

  2. Leigh Anne, A friend once told me "It won't always be like this." It sounds like this has been such a hard time for you! Saying a prayer for you and so happy you are here to celebrate through the hard days!!!

  3. I am sorry that January was so tough but glad you are back trying to find and celebrate those moments that are too great to forget. Glad you're back.

  4. Leigh Anne
Sorry to hear January was a tough month. Praying for you things get less tough this month. Glad you are here to celebrate this week!

  5. So sorry to hear that January has been tough, Leigh Anne. Here's to a Fabulous February. Happy to have you back celebrating.

  6. January is often one of the hard months for me - I'm always sad to say goodbye to Christmas and it's a long month. February feels short and sweet. I'm glad that you looked for the celebration in rainy days and hard times. Glad you received a sweet message from a friend. Happy to hear from you today and praying for easier days ahead.

  7. I'm so glad you had strong people to hold on to through that difficult month; glad of your turn to February and the movement toward better days; so glad you're back!

  8. I'm glad you've gotten through January. I was thinking that today too, that sometimes I want to just fast forward through certain days. But then I might miss that one little positive thing that happened that day. I hope February brings you light.

  9. I'm glad that you have good people with you despite the hard challenges, Leigh Anne. We all support you & send a hug!

  10. Sending a hug across the ocean.

  11. Leigh Anne-you will be in my prayers this week for peace and lots of joy! I'm so thankful that you wrote today so you could be encouraged. Here's to a Fantastic February.
