Twenty-Four Hours in a Day #sol18

Join Two Writing Teachers and other teacher-writers as we share a slice of life every single day in the month of March.

Today is one of those days where I told myself, "I don't have time to write a slice. I have a yearbook with a deadline.  I need sleep. I don't have time."

And then I remembered this quote and told myself, "We all have the same twenty-four hours in a day."

"Get over it."

  1. Oh, some people's twenty-four hours are filled much tighter than others. Hang in there! Yearbook deadlines are challenging.

  4. A quick reminder is a perfect slice. Good luck with that deadline!

  5. Your slice--and that quote--made me chuckle ruefully. I am often quite sure I somehow have less time in the day than other people! But maybe the problem is more meandering and unfocused direction!

  6. The same 24 hours..isn’t that the truth? Sometimes not a truth we want to embrace, though. Funny how depending on how busy we are, those 24 hours can either slip right through our fingers, or drag by slowly, seemingly one minute at a time. My day 6 was hectic as well, getting ready to leave town. This meant my post published at 3 minutes after midnight, just before boarding the train for Portland! Today will be a slow moving 24 hours — relaxing on the train is pure bliss!

  7. Some days, it seems like even 48 hours wouldn't be enough to get everything done. Over the weekend, I had to find time to blog and post but didn't have internet access often. My posts were late, but I did them. Deadlines do seem to decrease our time. Good luck!
